# Why Instagram as a proxy?

Instagram is the reference social network for talents and the advertising world. It serves as a relevant proxy to measure a talent's real-world performance and growth.
Unlike other platforms, Instagram remains the go-to destination where athletes build their personal brand and connect with fans.

It's where sponsorship deals are evaluated, where media presence is measured, and where commercial value is ultimately determined. When brands assess an athlete's marketability, Instagram followers and engagement are often the first metrics they look at.
