# What is a ROY?

A talent ROY is a **utility token **that gives you access to ROYs Rewards program on the platform.

You can buy, hold, or trade talent ROYs.
Each talent on the platform has its own ROY.

ROYs are digital contracts rights and do not constitute securities, investment contracts, or financial instruments of any kind. The purchase, sale, or trading of ROYs does not represent an investment in royaltiz or any athlete, nor does it confer any ownership interest, equity stake, dividend rights, or profit-sharing arrangement.
