# What do I need to start using royaltiz?

To use Royaltiz, you need:

1. **An account** — Sign up with your email, Google, Twitter, or connect any supported crypto wallet (Base, MetaMask, Phantom, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, Keplr, Trust Wallet, WalletConnect, Binance Wallet).
2. **USDC (stablecoin)** on the Base network — This is the only currency accepted on Royaltiz. No direct EUR or USD payments.
3. **ETH for gas fees** — Only if you use an external wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, etc.). Gas fees are covered for Base account and email/social login users.

That's it. Once you have USDC on Base, you're ready to browse athletes and collect ROYs.
